Creating Meaningful Impact
The team at The After School Spot Inc has worked tirelessly to promote our cause.
While there is always more that can be done, there is no doubt that we are making a significant impact.
Check out some of our previous events, activities, and fundraisers below!
Partnering with a local baker and cookie maker, we set up outside Winn-Dixie for our first-ever community fundraiser. Many teens from the center came out to volunteer and we raised over $400!
Bringing in almost $1,000 and getting to take over 40 local individuals to the races, this was a great fundraiser! Many local youth got to experience the racetrack for the first time!
This back-to-school event was an exciting time for the center. We were able to bring a dunk tank and an ice cream truck to the neighborhood kids. This was also the launch of first annual event "Friends Day on a Wednesday" a social gathering the last Wednesday of the summer before school restarts. We hope to be able to distribute backpacks and hygiene products at next years event.
This unique fundraiser provided fun and entertainment to over 100 local teens and adults. We utilized our entire mall and with the assistance of a 3D mapping company and an escape room owner we created a one-of-a-kind community experience and raised over $300. This was also the first time our flyers were approved and distributed in all 16 county schools!
